Biography

Master in European Law (Institute of European Studies, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels), and Bachelor in Law (Universidad Complutense, Madrid). Lawyer (from 1990 to 2007), researcher in different areas of work (civil society; democratic governance; extractive industries and its impacts in Sub Saharan Africar) and consultant (technical assistances and evaluations) in the field of International Cooperation for Development (in the areas of human rights, civil society and education) for public organizations (AECID, European Commission) and private entities (Civil Society Organizations).

He has done several researches and conultancies in Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal and South Sudan

Co-founder of the Research Centre on Security and Transnational Governance (ReSeT).
